Notes from the Galley of Sailing Vessel Solitaire is a collection of over 250 recipes that are great-tasting and easy to  prepare  in the galley of your boat or in the kitchen at home. Nancy and her husband Jim live aboard their sailboat and travel the seas. For several years, Nancy wrote a monthly cooking column for boaters. This book contains all her favorite recipes plus photographs and helpful hints.

  A little about the books.  We have been writing these from 8 years ago to 2 years ago.  It takes a lot of time to write, assemble, and edit    information.  We have finally put everything together this year and published the books.  Many friends have told us that we should publish our journals and bulletins, so we followed their advice.  It is because of them that we have put all this information together and made it available.  Thank You.

Sailing Solitaire

Jim and Nancy had a different dream for their retirement. They imagined themselves traveling to remote settlements on tropical Islands in their sailboat – meeting the people, learning the history, enjoying the environment, and giving a little back along the way.
